LATELY : ALL THINGS FLORAL

It has been a floraly, photo shooting kind of week over here! I've loved every second of this month and all of the exciting projects I have been working on.  We had tons of flowers left over from a shoot so I've been making arrangements for everyone, placing them all over the house, and of course photographing them.  Can't wait to share some fun things soon!

PEONY FLOWERS

I started posting all my photography work on my new professional blog (here) but I felt the need to share these pictures here as well.  Peonies are perfect, aren't they?  I'm offering a variety of these as prints and posters in my Etsy Shop (here).  The sizes range from 8x10 up to 24x36.  Hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do.

BLUSH BLOSSOMS

Just wanted to share this pretty pink suite I've been working on for a bride.  We took the large flower from my "blush blossoms" suite and added our own touch to it.  I love the choice of soft grey font and calligraphy.  The response card was mad lib style which I think is the cutest idea ever.  Envelope liners are my new favorite paper item, they really make the set feel complete and are such a pretty touch.  You can shop this suite and much more in my Etsy shop. 

INSTA-WEEK

A few recent favorite instagrams.  Yep, it's Saturday and I'm glued to the computer catching up on work.  But Hunter is out of town with friends and I'm ok with it because it's pretty pictures and pretty calligraphy!

RECENT WORK

A couple recent invitations and some thank you cards I made for myself. I wanted to see how my peony painting would look in print so I put these together and I LOVE them.  I can't wait to offer the peonies as a full suite! The last set is for a wedding in Alaska, inspired by the native wildflowers of Juneau.  Incorporating all these florals were special for the bride and groom and I loved creating them.  Check out more new stuff  in the shop and contact me for any custom requests!

A SWEET DAY

Monday was my birthday and as every year, my family and friends made everything so sweet.  I was showered with peonies and delicious food throughout the day.  Sarah, Cami, and I had an amazing lunch of cheese at Artisan Cheese Company on Main Street in Sarasota and did a little shopping. 

Some B-day instagrams...

My mom came over early in the morning with treats and an eggnog latte, us enjoying ourselves a little too much at lunch, over the weekend Hunter and I went shopping and had my favorite gorgonzola and pear pizza, and an amazing dinner at Chart House on Longboat Key with the fam.  

Such an amazing and much needed relaxing day! Many thanks to the special people in my life and the birthday wishes. xx
