REAL WEDDING : THE GUNN'S ROMANTIC OLD FLORIDA AFFAIR

Working on a local wedding often means for a friend or that my friends will in some way be involved in the creative process.  In the case of Jen & Alan's beautiful wedding, it was both.  Jen and I went to the same high school.  Several of her bridesmaid are close mutual friends and my best, Camilyn Beth made the gorgeous bridesmaids dresses! The dreamy photography is by Michelle March .  I created several hand painted and lettered elements for their day including the wooden welcome sign, cocktail signs, and drink dispensers.  Phillippi Creek served as the perfect backdrop, it's one of my favorite venues here as it just feels so old Florida to me.  Hanging moss, a long wooden dock, and the most gorgeous rooms for getting ready complete with pastels and floral wallpaper.  There's also a room with a turquoise ceiling! The colors of these pictures are just so soft and dreamy.

RECENT WORK: TROPICAL WATERCOLOR SUITE + CREST DESIGN

REALLY loved working on these invitations for a fancy, tropical, florida wedding.  The combination of coral charm peonies and lots of greenery was the perfect inspiration I needed.  I used gouache watercolors to create the original designs and acrylic paint for the envelopes.

RECENT WORK: INEZ & MATTHEW'S DELRAY BEACH WEDDING

I came across this suite on Pinterest that I designed for a lovely bride a couple months ago. It made me realize that I never did a post on it! Inez & Matthew's wedding was way too pretty not to share a few photos from the day.  Pink and gold glitter, a girl after my own heart...

I worked closely with Inez to design the perfect invitations and day of paper goods for their wedding day. Much to my delight, Inez later told me they hung the menu in their kitchen.  Such a brilliant idea and now I want to make a fun one for mine!  I created the invitation and response card, map of Delray Beach, gold calligraphy place cards, illustrated "chalkboard" style menu, and signs for the cigar bar and photo booth! Thanks Inez for being so sweet and fun to work with!

After much ado and many a request, calligraphy examples are up in my shop. WHOO HOO!

RECENT WORK

A couple recent invitations and some thank you cards I made for myself. I wanted to see how my peony painting would look in print so I put these together and I LOVE them.  I can't wait to offer the peonies as a full suite! The last set is for a wedding in Alaska, inspired by the native wildflowers of Juneau.  Incorporating all these florals were special for the bride and groom and I loved creating them.  Check out more new stuff  in the shop and contact me for any custom requests!
