CHRISTMAS THINGS

 A few snaps of Christmas around the house.  Our tree started out as a boho woodland theme but now I just keep collecting cute animals for it.  The ceramic paint tube and paint brush from Anthropologie last year are my favorite though. I picked up a few more from there this year (like the deer below).  Less is more for me with Christmas decor, or maybe it's because I have expensive taste in ornaments. haha. More importantly, Urban Outfitters instagrammed the above photo of my tree yesterday and I was pretty stoked about it to say the least!

HELLO NOVEMBER

I can't believe today is November 1st.  Even though I'm a bit saddened by how fast this year has gone by, I'm thankful that the last three months of the year are filled with fun holidays, cool weather, and lots of family / friend gatherings.  The above photos make me extra excited for these things, such a warm and cozy vibe.

SWEATER WEATHER

After spending the past week at my grandparents house in South Carolina and waking up to 30-40 degree weather I am alllll in the mood to dress up for the cold.  I arrived back in Florida and much to my delight the mornings have been in the 60's! This is exciting stuff people.  Even though it will warm back up next week I'm going to take full advantage of wearing my boots while it lasts. The above is basically my weekend dream outfit.

I think it's important to invest in really good basics, the ones that serve as your "go to" items.  Each of these items are simple but perfect for so many occasions.  The high waisted skinnies and printed loafers give a chic twist on the ole jeans and a t-shirt.  I'm also really in love with the monogram leather camera strap, it comes in a variety of colors via Fotostrap.

SPRING SHOWERS

So it really only rained for like a nanosecond on Monday.  But it was while I was getting ready to do my errands so it seemed right to force the wearing of my Hunter boots (any chance / excuse to wear them, I do).  There is something about this sweater that I can't get enough of.  It's so cozy and I wish I would have purchased it in every color available from Gap. Also, these last few pics are a little sneak peek of the new black wall in my entry way.  I quite like it.

WISHLISTED : SPRING FLING

Well, It's the beginning of March and I'm dreaming of pastels.  I'm not wishing this nice, cool weather away but I'm definitely excited for spring with all of it's muted hues and floral prints (my fave!) 

Plus, the new anthropolgie, free people, and j.crew catalogs aren't helping much...I would take one of everything, thanks.
