IN THE ROSE GARDEN

I just have two things to say about this post.  Ringling's rose garden is quite possibly my favorite place ever.  It never gets old and had such ever changing beauty.  I love seeing the rose's growth in each season.  Second, these jeans are my life.  I've been wearing them since I got them on my birthday.  They are the high rise cigarette jeans from Urban Outfitters, and at just $59 a pop you can't beat them.

FLORAL OVERALLS ARE MY FAVE

I'm sure some people are pretty terrified that the overall trend has resurfaced.  But not me.  I remember loving my denim overalls so much as a kid, I wanted to wear them all the time.  I was obsessed with rompers (and still am) when they started becoming popular.  And now that overalls have made their comeback, I'm going proudly wear them once again.  I haven't found the perfect denim pair but I snatched up this cute and comfortable floral print from Forever 21 last week.  At a whooping $25 who could resist?

A few photos Cami snapped of my while we were exploring and shooting street style last week.  I guess we were channeling / trying to blend in with the statues at Ringling Museum, ha.  Anyways, I've never been a fan of orange until recently.  It's bold and fresh and the perfect little pop of color.  I got this shirt in every color from Gap (whoops).  It's so comfortable (and on sale now).

I've had this dress for far too long but it's always been a fun one to recycle and perfectly comfortable for an impromptu casual date night.  

SUN DOWN

Cami and I took a little sunset trip to Lido earlier this week to take photos and just relax on the beach.  I can't wait to share the ones of her but for now, here are a few she snapped of me! This evening was so pretty.  My jewelry and belt are vintage.  The skirt is from Target.

FREESTYLE /// VOLUME 05 : FRESH TA DEATH

I think this weeks "freestyle" street style is my favorite so far.  The colors of this building are so fresh and crisp, perfect for the start of summer.  It helps that Cami is so effortlessly cool, she really brings so much life to my pictures.  I always leave our "Mondays Funday's" feeling fresh and inspired for the week.  A little extended silliness after the weekend never hurts.  Of course I had to play around with a few and put several Cami's into one photo, hence gifting myself a new summer web background!

FREESTYLE : VOLUME 4 // STREET ART + COLOR POPS

 I've always been a huge fan of graffiti art.  There is just something so fun and energetic about the style and array of colors.  How great is the giant lizard? Just look at how graphic and intricate his design is. This pop of blue in Cami's dress was perfection.  These were taken last week when we were location scouting around downtown Sarasota.  We discovered lots of little back alleys and side streets with all kinds of awesome stuff happening...many hidden treasures in the Rosemary District.

CALL ME...MAYBE?

After driving around in circles looking for perfect spots to shoot with Cami, things get a little goofy / borderline weird.  I don't really like to pose / be in pictures but when given a prop, it makes everything ok.  So thanks Dad, for getting me that pink phone attachment thing for my iPhone, it has truly come in handy.  I'm not sure who I was pretending to yell at but it was fun nonetheless.  I'm excited to share the official style posts from this day (of Cami), we found some really cool places to shoot at...stay tuned for those on Monday! xx
