INSTAGRAMS & IPHONE SNAPS FROM NEW ORLEANS

 brunch at our hotel (Hotel Modern) was so delish, we ate there a couple of times 

Misc snaps from exploring the city.  We of course went to sucre for macarons, Cafe Du Monde for beignets, shopped Magazine Street, and wondered aimlessly in the French Quarter. It was perfection.

 The first row of pics above is from CB's fitting the day before the show.  The second is more wondering and brunching.  The last row of photos is from the "Shop your City" day.  We hung out at Hattie Sparks (where my illustrations and Cami's dresses are sold) with Amy of Dallas Wardrobe and Juley of Upperlyne as they hosted a Camilyn Beth trunk show.  It was so good to see everyone and catch up! 

And the finale! Cami's show was an absolute success and an amazing experience to be a part of.  So proud!  I have many more "real" photos to edit from the weekend so stay tuned!

INSTA-MOMENTS

The past couple weeks have consisted of new lettering projects, photo shoots, making a point to have Sunday brunch with Hunter, and trying to take time to relax with my favorite animals.  Things have quiet around here as I wrap up lots of new projects to share! 

BREAKFAST FAVES / VEGGIE EGG SKILLET

If only everyday I could find the time to make a delicious breakfast, but I guess that's what weekends are for.  I had been wanting to make my own version of a veggie "skillet" that I love to order at one of my favorite breakfast joints.  For this, I chopped up onions, red peppers, and red skin potatoes.  I let that cook in olive oil, pepper, and garlic for a while before adding the eggs.  Then I went outside a plucked this basil from my plant (that is still alive, yay!).  Served with a fruit cup and of course, giant coffees.

This has been a crazy week and weekend.  I'm so thankful for some great recent opportunities and to be so busy! I love when the fun projects just keep coming.  Cami, Ashten, and I had an awesome shoot at the end of the week,  a couple features, my little sisters 13th birthday, I assisted shooting a wedding on Saturday, and had a Sunday Funday brainstorming sesh with my majorly inspiring bffs, and now I'm gearing up for another test shoot this week that I'm stoked about.  Life is good y'all.
