REAL WEDDINGS: BAILEY & JOHN-MICHAEL BAHIA BEACH, PUERTO RICO

Bailey & John-Michaels beautiful wedding in Puerto Rico last fall.  I had so much fun working with Bailey to create all of the fun, vibrant stationery.  The ombre lettering was totally her idea and I LOVE how it turned out!

LATELY : STUDIO SNAPS

Snaps of some projects; client work, shooting my first ever wholesale catalog, and miscellaneous painting for NSS.  Also, the last few photos I took of my home office before I started to pack up everything to move into my new studio space.  It's taken awhile to finish but I can't wait to get in there! And also to share the crazy before and after photos.  So much has been going on lately with the growing of this business, I've been wanting to update more but time gets away from me as I have been painting as much as possible to finish up my line for NSS.  Once I make this move into my new studio and finish up my catalog I will have lots of exciting things to share!

I am doing a pop-up shop with my friends Camilyn Beth and Influence Style to benefit Selah Freedom this evening. Local friends (Bradenton/Sarasota) please stop by!

Happy Weekend!

BTS: SHANNON KIRSTEN x HALLMARK COLLABORATON + AN INTERVIEW

I'm so excited to be featured on Hallmark's blog Think.Make.Share this week! You can read the little interview on our collaboration and my art / inspirations in general.  It was so much fun to work with Hallmark on this collection.  The final printed product turned out beautifully.  You can shop these four cards just in time for Valentines Day at your local Gold Crown store and online at www.hallmark.com

BLUSH & MUSTARD FLORAL BABY SHOWER

This isn't just any baby shower. This baby shower was for one of my best childhood friends (hosted with our other best, long time gfs).  This last photo above, that's us and sums us up perfectly. Always laughing about something, being silly, and cherishing our 19+ years of friendship. Friends turned sisters. It's unbelievably exciting to celebrate such sweet occasions for the people you love.  I was happy to lend my talents in making this day beautiful and memorable for Heather. That Sarah Tucker,   she made everything happen and opened up her beautiful home for the day.  I painted the flamingo crest and printed it on canvas to welcome all the guests to the party,  a just for fun 'photo booth' that I hand painted on Sarah's dining room floor one evening while planning last minute details.  We did a cheese table with calligraphy painted directly on it, some sweet treats and little sandwiches, infused water, pink champagne (of course). Sarah also secretly got baby photos that were placed about the house on white balloons.  We all laughed at the cute pictures and wondered who Ava will look like.  We are desperate to meet this little girl and it could be any time now with a due date of February 1st!

REAL WEDDINGS: CALEB + LIZ AT OXFORD EXCHANGE

I cannot say enough good things about these two and their amazing wedding this past summer.  Oxford Exchange is beyond and everyone should get married there. ha.  It is always an honor and a privilege to create for friends weddings, it means so much to be able to lend my talents for my friends special days.  Caleb and I go back about 20 years, which is crazy to even type out.  I've SO enjoyed getting to know Liz better over the past few that she has been with Caleb.  He secretly asked me to photograph their proposal over Thanksgiving weekend in 2014. We then began with designing their invitations and other stationery for the day of.  I love the varied versions of grey watercolors we used throughout the paper. Complete with slate grey envelopes and white calligraphy. Finally, witnessing and celebrating in this beautiful day was the cherry on top (I took these photos and also got to party with them).  Zac made such a wonderful video that you should check out as well.  There is a plethora of more photos on my photography blog.
