CALLIGRAPHY : WESLEY'S SIP & SEE PARTY

Some of the sweet things I painted for Wesley's sip and see this past weekend.  Sarah knows how to throw a good party and I was delighted to lend my talents to this cuteness!  Wesley was so precious and content the whole time, even while being passed around and taking quick naps in between.  Such a good idea, to have everyone over at once to mingle and meet him (plus catch up with friends and drink mimosa!)  So fun! Jump over to Sarah's blog for more details and photos.

FRIENDSGIVING

My girl friends and I decided to celebrate a little "Friendsgiving" recently.  Hosted by Camilyn Beth, we got dressed up in her festive party dresses and headed downtown Sarasota to one of our favorite spots.  Artisan Cheese Company was kind enough to have us and let me snap these photos of my friends being silly and enjoying all kinds of delicious cheeses and treats.  This idea of "friendsgiving" is just so great.  Time with friends is super important to me.  Sometimes with the craziness of the holidays, traveling, visiting family, etc you just don't get enough gf time in.  So why not make a date to have your own (stress free) Thanksgiving a weekend or two before!  Best idea ever.  We laughed, talked business,  ate, and drank wine until the sun went down.  I'm so thankful for these buddies of mine!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. xox

BFF GIFT EXCHANGE PARTY

The day or so after Christmas is something I look forward to all year, just as much as Christmas itself.  Sadie, Cami, Heather, and I began our gift exchange when we were in high school.  This was the tenth year in a row.  Our moms used to take turns hosting and making us breakfast, then as we got older we began holding it at a different house each year.  This was my year (yippee!) This day is always filled with laughs, a few happy tears, story telling, reminiscing, delicious snacks, and thankful hearts.  I'm so blessed by their friendship and to have some amazing people to experience life and be silly with.

Thank you for making me laugh, encouraging me, being good listeners, inspiring me, and so much more...Here's to many more bright years to come!
