HAPPY HALLOWEEN + SOME LINKS

Halloween weekend is here, yay!
Do you still dress up?
It's my favorite. Hunter is always a good sport and will dress up with me, so that makes it more fun! His parents started having an annual party a few years back, so looking forward to that.  It is also the weekend we met four years ago! Man time flies. We will be celebrating at our favorite restaurant tonight.

Some halloween related favorites from this week:
*DIY gold leaf pumpkins via Free People
*Halloween wedding inspiration via Green Wedding Shoes
*A fall colored bouquet, painting / color inspiration!
*Love these crazy but pretty Halloween makeup ideas
*I think this is my favorite couples costume I've seen on Pinterest
*Beautiful fall decor // fireplace with pumpkins

And a few non-Halloween:
*Ted Baker floral luggage, come home to me!
*Love the colors and composition of this photo, more painting / palette inspo!
*Gucci S/S '16 is still KILLING me, all those sheer pastels and ruffles
*Can I have this in my backyard please?
*This embroidered dress from Zara, now on my wishlist

AND since this is one of my favorite weekends of the year I decided to offer a special little discount just for the weekend.  Use code 'HAPPY' for 15% off through Sunday.  Shop my prints and stationery right here

Have a spooky weekend kitty cats!

LATELY : IN THE STUDIO

October is flying by already and I can already feel the hustle and bustle of fall start to creep in. Florida has been kind to us and we had a little breeze this week, it's so exciting. I can't wait to wear boots!

The above photos are a few new things added to the shop lately.  My skull print is one of my favorites, originally created for Halloween a few years back.  I like to try and decorate for holidays but I don't always appreciate the colors associated with said holiday so I mostly stick to my muted scheme and make it work - hence the pastel skull and white pumpkins! The vegetable print got added to the shop and I think it's going to be adorable paired with the already existing fruits and/or herbs.  Finally, a few new cards and I am trying to get my Christmas greetings wrapped up here soon! Visit my Etsy here to shop these items.

We head to New York this weekend for work and play.  I'm just excited Hunter was able to get off work and come with me for once.  So we booked an extra night to make sure we see all of our favorite NYC humans and of course do a little sightseeing / exploring.

Also, American Horror Story starts tonight with Lady Gaga. I'm dying. Anyone else a big fan?  I have a few friends who are fan girls like me so it's always fun to text on commercials and be like what just happened? haha.

Hope you all are having a lovely week!

THINGS I LOVE : BLACK & WHITE & HALLOWEEN

Well here we are, half way through October already.  I can't believe it.  October is one of my favorite months, I really love halloween and the beginning of crisp mornings.  What I love even more is finding "non-traditional" ways to decorate for holidays.  I'm obsessed with this black and white approach to halloween. It still has a creepy, dark side but the lack of color feels much more chic. I may have to carry this over to Christmas, with a touch of sparkle of course.
